EFT-AUTOMATIC WITHDRAWALS

Q. How does EFT-Automatic Withdrawals work?
A. With your authorization, your insurance premium will be transferred from the checking account of your choice either in full or on a monthly basis. You will receive at least ten days notification before your first withdrawal will occur.

Q. Are there any fees with EFT-Automatic Withdrawals?
A. No, another advantage of this option is there are no service charges or installment fees.

Q. How do I enroll in the EFT-Automatic Withdrawals option?
A. To place your policy on EFT-Automatic Withdrawals or have your current installment taken out of your checking account, you may log into the Online Billing Service Center, select the "Make Payment / Manage Payment Options" tab, and select either "Setup Automatic Withdrawals" or "Make an On-Demand Payment."

Q. How do I know my bill is paid?
A. Your payment information is itemized on your checking account statement.

Q. When can I enroll in EFT- Automatic Withdrawals?
A. You can enroll in EFT- Automatic Withdrawals payment option at any time during your policy period.

Q. What if I wish to discontinue EFT-Automatic Withdrawals?
A. You may opt out of EFT-Automatic Withdrawals at any time by logging into the Online Billing Service Center, selecting the "Make Payment / Manage Payment Options" tab, and selecting "Stop Automatic Withdrawals". You must opt out at least ten days prior to your next deduction in order to stop the next scheduled payment.

Q. Will Final Audits be Automatically deducted from my checking account if I am enrolled in EFT-Automatic Withdrawals?
A.  You and your agent will receive an audit notification showing the amount of the recent final audit, before we adjust your next withdrawal. You will receive a withdrawal notification 20-30 days prior to the next withdrawal date, showing the amount to be withdrawn. If you are expecting a return, a credit for the amount of the returned premium will apply to the next withdrawals, until exhausted. If there are no remaining withdrawals scheduled, the balance will be refunded to you in full.

ON DEMAND PAYMENT OPTIONS

Q. Is the On Demand payment option still available?
A. Yes, if you want to continue to initiate your payments, but don't want to write a check, you can use the on demand option to have your payment withdrawn anytime you receive your bill.

Q. What options do I have for a one-time payment?
A. You have three choices for a one time, On-Demand payment:

  1. Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT)—Have a single deduction taken directly from your checking account.
  2. ATM Debit Card—Use your debit card to pay any amount.
  3. Credit/Debit Card—Pay the full balance of your policy using your American Express®, MasterCard® or Visa®.

ONLINE BILLING SERVICE CENTER

Q. Can I pay my bill online?
A. Our Online Billing Service Center (OBSC) makes it convenient and easy for you to pay your insurance bills online, enroll in EFT-Automatic Withdrawals, and view your account status and payment history 24 hours a day, seven days a week. If you already have an OBSC account, you can login at any time. If you don’t have an account, you may create one at any time using the link above.

Q. I am a legacy Safeco Insurance commercial lines customer. Can I pay my bill using the Online Billing Service Center?
A. Commercial lines Safeco Insurance-issued policies can only be paid online at safe.goldeneagle-ins.com by signing into "My Account."  If you are unsure where to pay your bill online, refer to the website address on your policy invoice. If you have any issues with your Safeco Insurance-issued policies, please contact 877-566-6001.  For questions regarding a Peerless Insurance issued policy, please click on the "Contact Us" link provided above.
